We’re also a happy bunch. Monkeys have never taken themselves too seriously. It’s pretty hard to when you’re in a meeting room named after an actual simian (Bubbles, George and Koko, to name a few). If we get too sombre, the Fun Police are there to sort us out, with regular agency events, from parties to pizza lunches, away days to afternoon drinks (the fact we used to be called Three Drunk Monkeys is a clue that we don’t mind a drink).

Monkeys Sydney HQ in Surry Hills has 2 kitchens and 8 fridges, with everything you need for brekkie and lunch. Thursday is Bread Day, with artisan breads and spreads (even smashed avocado, so you can save for that home deposit). There’s afternoon snacks and if you’re working late, we’ll shout you dinner and a cab charge too. To work off the food, we have a gym and showers, exercise classes and a football team, which is the one thing we do take pretty seriously.
